Scope of Study

Summary:This survey examines faculty attitudes about a range of issues facing African Studies programs at colleges and universities in the United States. Questions focused on teaching African studies, study abroad programs, African language study, and attitudes toward Africa. Faculty were also asked to give their views and opinions on African Studies programs at their own institutions.
